  • Where are you located?
    I am based in Michigan, but my services are available to brides and wedding parties across two additional Midwestern states; Illinois, and Wisconsin.
  • Do you have a booking minimum?
    Yes I do. A minimum booking fee of $400 is required to secure wedding day makeup services. This minimum may be waived if the bride is booking the bundled makeup service. However, if the bride is only interested in a wedding day application, also known as an “À La Carte Bridal Makeup Application,” the $400 minimum will still apply. Please note that travel fees are not included in the $400 minimum. Bookings below this minimum are accepted but will still incur a $400 charge.
  • Where do trials take place?
    The location of a your trial varies on the state where you reside. Please refer to the list down below so you can have a better idea of where your trial would take place; - Kentwood, Michigan - Chicago Illinois - Milwaukee, Wisconsin I also offer at home trials at an additional cost for my super busy brides that are unable to make the trip to me. I know life can get hectic (school, work, being a homemaker, running a business etc...) and with my average bride being at least an hour away from me, sometimes making space in your calendar or getting away long enough to have your trial done can be hard. I am always super understanding that my brides are human at the end of the day and with that in mind, I try to be as flexible as possible.
  • How long does a bridal makeup trial take?
    Bridal makeup trials take 2 hours. So when booking a trial, please take both the travel time and the duration of the trial into consideration.
  • How much time do you need per application?
    Bride; 1hr 15min Attendees; 35-45min (Depending on the complexity. But I do like to put down 40 minutes when making the timeline for the day of.)
  • Do you require a retainer to book?
    Yes, I do require a non-refundable retainer to secure and book your wedding date. The retainer is a percentage of your total costs, which includes the makeup services for everyone involved as well as travel expenses. For example, if the total cost for makeup and travel is $800, your retainer will be a percentage of that amount. Please note that the retainer percentage increases as your wedding date approaches. Below is a guide to the expected retainer percentages: Retainer Percentages: 50% if booked more than 5 months before the wedding 60% if booked within 4 months of the wedding 70% if booked within 3 months of the wedding 80% if booked within 2 months of the wedding
  • Do you have a contract?
    Yes I do. A signed contract is one of two requirements to lock in and secure your date.
  • Do you have a second artist you work with?
    I do not have a specific artist I exclusively work with on larger wedding parties, but I can bring a second artist with me if need be at an additional charge.
  • How many years have you been doing makeup?
    10 years in the makeup industry and 6 years since my very first bride.
  • What payment methods do you accept?
    Venmo, Cashapp, and Zelle. I do not accept cash for retainers or final payments, but cash is accepted for tips. Checks of any kind are not accepted as payment for retainers, final payments, or tips. There are NO EXCEPTIONS to this rule and you will not be able to secure your wedding date if your preferred payment method is cash or check.
  • Can I use my own makeup?
    Yes. I do allow clients to use their own makeup. Including, but not limited to; foundation, lipstick, and powder. However, this does not affect the set rate, and a release of liability form must be signed. Please note that using your own products is not recommended, as I cannot guarantee their longevity or flawless application. It’s best to discuss any concerns with me in advance so we can find solutions that allow me to use the products in my pro-kit (or buy substitutions that I have worked with before) to ensure the quality and durability of your makeup application.
  • Do you offer airbrush makeup services?
    No, I do not offer airbrush makeup services; all of my work is done using traditional application techniques.
  • Do you provide hair services as well?
    No I do not. I only offer makeup services. However, I've worked along side many many amazing hairstylist and I am always happy to help point brides that book with me in the right direction and give them recommendations.
  • Can I book a trial run before committing?
    Due to the high demand for my services and the nature of my schedule, I kindly request that brides commit to a signed contract and full booking prior to scheduling a trial. This policy ensures that I can dedicate my full attention to each bride and allows for flexibility in choosing dates for consultations and trials. I completely understand if this arrangement doesn’t align with your expectations, and I respect your decision should you choose to explore other options. I apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and truly appreciate your understanding.
